After the Treaty of Waitangi was singed, New Zealand became a British colony. Many other countries in the world are also British colonies including Canada, South Africa, Australia, India and Malaysia. As a group they are called, the 'Commonwealth' countries. For this activity we had to think of four questions we would like to ask Bill Kini, Bill Kini is a New Zealand heavyweight boxer. Here are my questions I would like to ask him.
1. What inspired you to become a boxer?
2. Did you ever dream, that you would go this far when you started boxing?
3. Who is your biggest supporter?
4. When you where younger was this your dream job, if not what was?
Hey Tia
ReplyDeleteI can really see the all of the hard work that you have put into this activity. I also am doing the summer learning journey on my blog. What was your favrioute part about this activity? Why?
Hope you have a merry christmas and a happy new year.
Kia Ora Tia,
ReplyDeleteYou have made a great start to the Summer Learning Journey. Ka Pai! My name is Hazel and I will be one of the people blogging with you over summer.
You have written some great interview questions! I like that you have used mostly open-ended questions; they tend to encourage the person you are talking to to give you more information.
I think it would take a lot of time and training to be a champion boxer. Do you play any sports? How much time do you spend training each week? I play netball, and we play once a week. We should probably spend more time training though because we don't win very often.
Keep up the great work! I hope that you and your family had a great Christmas yesterday.
Hazel :)
